As the Property Operations Coordinator, you'll support the day-to-day management of Ausgrid's property portfolio, with a focus on lease administration, tenant management, accounts payable, SAP processing, and portfolio reporting.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you'll help ensure property transactions, financial processes, and property records are managed accurately and efficiently while contributing to the smooth operation of the Property team.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Supports the administration of Ausgrid and Aurora property leases and agreements, including maintaining lease records, processing rental reviews, preparing tenant billings, monitoring critical dates, and supporting debt management activities.
- Perform end-to-end SAP processing, including raising purchase orders, receipting goods and services, validating invoices, processing journals, and supporting accounts payable activities across the Property team
- Administer statutory property charges, including council rates, water charges, land tax, electricity accounts, and other property-related outgoings, ensuring charges are accurately recorded, allocated and processed within required timeframes.
- Prepare and maintain operational and financial reporting, including purchase order reporting, reconciliations, accruals, rental reporting, budget support, forecasting support, and month-end activities.
- Undertake procurement and contractor administration activities, including preparing purchase requisitions, processing contractor onboarding documentation, maintaining contractor records, processing invoices, and supporting the delivery of property-related works and services.
- Maintain accurate property, financial and contractual records within SAP, property management systems, and company registers, ensuring information is up to date, complete and readily accessible.
- Provide administrative and operational support across the Property portfolio, including preparing correspondence and documentation, responding to routine stakeholder enquiries, maintaining records, supporting property transactions, and assisting with the efficient delivery of property services.
What you bring to the role
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing large volumes of transactions and stakeholder interactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in Business, Administration, Finance or Accounting preferably within a property or asset management team
- Strong accounts payable experience and understanding of financial processes.
- Strong property administration experience, including exposure to leases, rental reviews, property transactions, council rates, and tenant management.
- Experience using SAP for purchase orders, invoice processing, receipting, and reporting.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
