We are looking for a hands-on Service Reporting Manager to establish, uplift, and lead service reporting and performance governance across a dynamic and evolving operations environment. This is a critical role where you will go beyond reporting bringing structure to complexity and turning data into meaningful, actionable insight that drives operational performance.
You will own and continuously improve the service reporting framework, ensuring clear visibility of performance, retailer SLAs, operational risks, and service outcomes. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will drive a shift from reactive reporting to a more proactive, insight-led operating model.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Establish and lead a centralised service reporting and governance framework across Metering Operations
- Deliver clear visibility of service performance, retailer SLAs, risks, operational trends and readiness for new services
- Lead, manage and develop a small team
- Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and performance packs for leadership decision-making
- Standardise metrics, definitions, and data quality across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Drive the continuous improvement in collaboration with the Reporting and Analytics team
- Partner across operations, and internal & external stakeholders (including retailers and service providers)
- Lead workshops, acting as the SME for reporting and performance insights
- Support service readiness across key projects
What you bring to the role
We’re looking for someone who can build, lead, and deliver, and is comfortable being hands-on to drive real outcomes. You are confident working across diverse stakeholder groups, effectively eliciting requirements and translating them into meaningful reporting and actionable insights. You combine strategic thinking with strong attention to detail, and bring well-developed financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret performance in the context of cost, efficiency, and profitability (including OPEX, cost-to-serve, and EBITDA impacts).You are motivated by strengthening governance, improving processes, and delivering measurable outcomes that enhance business performance.
To be successful, you will also have:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in operations, business, management or a related discipline
- Extensive experience (typically 8–10+ years) in service management, operational reporting or performance governance roles.
- Experience in transforming or uplifting reporting functions in evolving environments
- People leadership experience, with the ability to lead and support a small team
- Strong understanding of retailer SLAs, service performance drivers and compliance requirements
- Proven experience in service readiness and service reporting
Desirable but not essential:
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, CRM and Power BI Power BI or similar platforms
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Demonstrated experience within utilities or energy environments, ideally within metering, customer operations or regulated services.
