As an NMI Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the National Electricity Market through the accurate and compliant management of Type 8 and Type 9 NMIs. You'll be responsible for maintaining standing data integrity, ensuring market transactions are processed efficiently and within regulatory timeframes, and collaborating with key industry stakeholders to deliver positive market and customer outcomes.

• Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Type 8 and Type 9 NMIs.
• Maintaining accurate standing data and ensuring compliance within MSATS.
• Processing market transactions within required timeframes and regulatory obligations.
• Investigating and resolving complex standing data, settlement and transaction issues.
• Collaborating with retailers, network providers, AEMO and internal stakeholders to achieve compliant market outcomes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, data quality and operational performance.

What you bring to the role

You're an experienced professional with a background in the energy industry who enjoys working in a dynamic and evolving environment. You bring a strong focus on accuracy, stakeholder engagement and delivering quality outcomes, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate complex challenges with confidence.

You'll also bring:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex operational issues.
• Strong knowledge of MSATS, CATS, B2B transactions and NMI lifecycle management.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and compliance.
• The ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence.
• Experience within Embedded Networks, NMI Service Provider functions, Flexible Trading Arrangements or Type 8/Type 9 metering environments will be highly regarded.
