Your new role
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Lead to expand our presence within key channels and drive the growth of our metering and data products. You will develop and execute channel plans to meet sales targets, increase deployments, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Achieving growth targets for meters and data services.
- Building and managing relationships with stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the Commercial team to win contracts and tenders.
- Tracking KPIs and implementing strategies to enhance business outcomes.
- Supporting customer satisfaction initiatives and driving continuous improvement.

Key skills we are looking for:
- Proven experience in business development or sales, especially in channel management.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in contract management, tender responses, and sales negotiations.
- Solid understanding of the smart metering market and National Electricity Market (NEM).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Salesforce and SAP preferred.
Additionally, the candidate must be able to build relationships and collaborate effectively with key third-party partners, such as EDMI, Ausgrid Group, Retriever, and others as required.
