Are you a seasoned Business Analysis professional with a passion for leadership, innovation and delivering value driven outcomes? We are seeking a Business Analysis Practice Lead to build and lead a high-performing Business Analysis capability, shaping the way we deliver complex initiatives.

 

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role where you will combine team development with direct delivery of business analysis outcomes, influencing stakeholders and driving business transformation.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of Business Analysts, fostering professional growth and high performance.
  • Establish and embed best-practice standards, frameworks, and methodologies for business analysis across the organisation.
  • Perform hands-on business analysis, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, and solution design for complex initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across PLUS ES to deliver innovative and value-driven initiatives.
  • Partner with Technology & Product Innovation to develop internal and external roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and excellence in practice.
  • Influence diverse stakeholder groups to achieve optimal outcomes across complex initiatives.

 

What you bring to the role

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years’ experience in business analysis, including proven leadership of BA teams.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability with a track record of building team capability.
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
  • Deep knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices (Agile, BABOK).
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement and deliver high-quality, value-driven outcomes.
  • Expertise in requirements management and solution design for complex initiatives.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

 

Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field, as well as relevant industry certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA, will be highly regarded. Experience in utilities, telecommunications, or similar industries is also advantageous, particularly for those with proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.

 

Additionally, candidates with exposure to project management and solution architecture principles, as well as experience managing external vendors and partners within complex delivery environments, will be strongly prioritised.
