This is a high-impact opportunity to join a small, high-performing sustainability team that plays a critical role in shaping climate strategy and performance across the organisation.
You will lead the development and delivery of key climate initiatives, with a strong focus on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting, Scope 3 emissions, and climate transition planning. You will have a key responsibility in leading and delivering sustainability-related strategies, policies, data and disclosure for the organisation, and providing oversight and governance to ensure delivery of long-term sustainability goals, initiatives and KPIs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and deliver climate transition and sustainability strategies, policies, and action plans
- Own and enhance GHG accounting and emissions reporting for Scope 3 emissions
- Drive climate data management, including data collection, validation, analysis, forecasting, and reporting
- Support the development of emissions reduction pathways and action plans
- Prepare and manage public sustainability disclosures such as the Business & Sustainability Review and Modern Slavery Statement
- Engage and influence internal stakeholders to embed sustainability into business decision-making
- Provide subject matter expertise on climate standards and frameworks (e.g. GHG Protocol, SBTi, ISSB, GRESB)
- Respond to sustainability-related information requests from investors and other stakeholders, including completing the annual GRESB submission
- Support performance across key ESG ratings and benchmarks
What you bring to the role

To be successful, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (Arts, Communications, Business, Sustainability, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, open to other disciplines).
- Proven experience in climate / sustainability roles, ideally with a strong data focus
- Deep understanding of:
- GHG Protocol
- Emissions accounting and reporting
- Climate-related disclosure requirements
- Hands-on experience with carbon accounting, emissions inventories, and data analysis
- Strong analytical and data skills (advanced Excel)
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to engage with, influence and build relationships with subject matter experts, senior management, and executives.
- Deep knowledge of key sustainability standards, frameworks, indices, and market practice.
- Background in energy, utilities, or infrastructure is advantageous but not essential
