Your New Role
Are you an experienced supply chain professional ready to make a significant impact on optimising end-to-end operations?
As the Supply Chain Analyst for our PLUS ES Metering Business, you will have a key role in ensuring that our metering equipment supply chain runs smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Planning & Optimisation: Develop plans to optimise cost, efficiency, and customer service across the supply chain, from procurement to reverse logistics.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse supply chain data (inventory, transportation, lead times, etc.) to identify trends and areas for improvement. Create dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to monitor and report on efficiency.
- Collaboration & Forecasting: Work with Deployment, Sales, and Finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, using historical data and market trends.
- Cost & Inventory Management: Conduct cost-benefit analyses, manage inventory to meet customer demand, minimise costs, and ensure optimal stock levels through audits.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Build strong vendor relationships, ensure timely deliveries, and provide excellent service for internal and external stakeholders by serving as the point of contact for all metering equipment orders and enquiries.
- Logistics Optimisation: Organise warehousing and freight with third-party logistics providers, optimise forward and reverse logistics channels to control costs, and track inventory across the supply chain. Ensure the return of equipment for warranty repair, replacement, or refurbishment.
- Operational Focus: Manage daily supply chain activities, including placing orders, tracking statuses, and coordinating with internal stakeholders. Ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution by proactively addressing any challenges that arise.
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in either Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field, with a proven track record of delivering results in a similar role.
- Experience with supply chain analytics, demand forecasting, inventory management, and vendor management.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and inventory management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience building positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team and manage complex cross-team requirements.
