As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing our financial risk, liquidity, and debt portfolios, ensuring that our treasury operations remain transparent, compliant, and strategically aligned to support sustainable business performance.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of our financial decision-making, providing senior leaders with the data-driven insights and analysis they need to make confident, informed decisions that drive long-term value for our customers, communities, and shareholders.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver independent oversight of treasury activities, ensuring compliance with policy, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor liquidity, counterparty credit exposures and funding risks, helping shape our liquidity and funding strategies.
- Conduct financial risk simulations, scenario analysis and stress testing to assess debt, derivatives and liquidity exposures.
- Validate treasury transactions, ensuring compliance with policy limits, hedge documentation, and regulatory standards.
- Design, enhance and maintain dashboards and performance indicators that drive visibility and accountability.
- Provide accurate data and analytical insights to support forecasting, planning, and reporting for senior management and the Board.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of treasury policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Support system and automation projects, leveraging technology (including AI) to streamline reporting, enhance accuracy and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams across Finance, Risk and Accounting to ensure sound liquidity management and robust decision-making.
- Build trusted relationships with banks, rating agencies, auditors and advisors to support funding and compliance objectives.

You will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Post-graduate qualifications (CA, CPA, CFA or similar) are desirable.
- 5+ years’ experience in treasury, financial risk management or related middle/back office roles.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, including debt, derivatives, FX and money markets.
- Experience with treasury management systems (e.g. Bloomberg, Eikon, SAP, GTreasury) and financial reporting tools.
- Solid knowledge of governance, controls and regulatory frameworks relevant to treasury operations.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, independence and professional judgement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into actionable insight.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- A proactive mindset, focused on process improvement and innovation.
