Your new role

As our Cyber Security Architect IT & OT, you’ll work closely with IT & OT engineers and business stakeholders to design secure, scalable, and resilient solutions that protect critical infrastructure. You’ll balance performance, cost, user experience, and redundancy while embedding cyber security into every stage of the system lifecycle.

 

Key responsbilities include:

  • Designing and developing cyber security architectures for ICT & OT environments
  • Implementing secure-by-design principles across ICT & OT infrastructure
  • Recommending and evaluating cyber security technologies
  • Defining network segmentation strategies for ICS and SCADA systems
  • Enforcing modern security principles such as zero-trust models and secure access protocols
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure best practices
  • Conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and gap analysis to identify vulnerabilities in various IT, OT and Cyber solutions
  • Providing technical leadership on cyber initiatives aligned with business goals
  • Staying current with emerging threats, vulnerability and industry trends in ICT & OT security

We’re looking for a pragmatic and charismatic architect who can build trust with non-technical stakeholders and deliver robust, business-aligned solutions. You’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, IT, or a related field
  • Industry certifications (e.g. (ISC)², ISA/IEC 62443, CompTIA, SANS, ISACA)
  • 3+ years of experience in cyber security architecture or consulting
  • 3+ years working in OT or critical infrastructure environments
  • Deep knowledge of OT cyber security risks, controls, and technologies
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or SABSA
  • Familiarity with the AESCSF framework
