As a Project Delivery Officer, you will play a vital role in the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) program at PLUS ES. This position is crucial for ensuring team safety, providing exceptional service delivery that exceeds customer expectations, maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements, and achieving commercial objectives.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the delivery of EVCI projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. This involves collaborating with a team of professionals and paraprofessionals to achieve project goals and support team success. You will foster positive client relationships, driving successful project delivery through open collaboration and communication and prepare and execute detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on project progress, proactively identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues, as well as contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, helping the team to evolve and deliver the best possible outcomes in a rapidly changing industry.
Being technically minded, you will support the EVCI team contributing to technical solutions and processes to assist in delivering cutting edge technologies.
What you bring to the role

To be successful, you will have the following skills & experience:
- Proven extensive experience and technical expertise gained in an electrical trade role within the electrical distribution industry or similar.
- Sound knowledge of safe working practices, network standards, and relevant regulations.
- Strong Project Management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across stakeholder groups.
- Experience in cost monitoring and financial reporting.
- Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with engineering software and systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Electrical Trade Certificate (or equivalent).
- Cert IV in Project Management (or equivalent)
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering projects for an ASP1 contractor
- Experience delivering grid connections for DNSPs
- Electrical Safety Rules accreditation.
- Experience with CAD or other design software.
- Experience in fault investigation and network restoration planning.
- Experience in supervising work activities and coordinating resources.
