Lead a major transformation shaping the future of customer connections
We’re looking for a Program Manager to lead our Connections Excellence Program, a high-impact, multi-year transformation delivering smarter, simpler and more customer-focused connection experiences.
You will take the reins of a significant program and drive it through system integration, go-live and beyond, embedding lasting change across people, processes and technology. As Program Manager, you’ll lead end-to-end delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved across scope, schedule, budget and quality. You’ll play a critical role in modernising how we manage 80,000+ customer connection applications annually, including implementing a new ServiceNow platform to replace legacy systems.
- Drive delivery performance across vendors and internal teams, holding accountability to timelines, quality and commercial outcomes
- Set clear direction and foster a high-performing, outcomes-focused delivery culture
- Provide governance and reporting to senior stakeholders, including Executive and SteerCo forums
- Identify and manage risks while maintaining strong financial oversight
- Partner with ICT and business stakeholders to deliver large-scale, technology-enabled change
- Enable cross-functional collaboration to define roadmaps, milestones and strategic priorities
- Champion a customer-centric, continuous improvement mindset across the program
- Translate data and insights into initiatives that improve service, efficiency and customer outcomes
- Establish and embed a sustainable continuous improvement model post go-live
What you bring to the role

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, supported by extensive experience leading large-scale business and customer-centric transformation programs
- Proven experience delivering technology-enabled change, with a strong focus on digital and customer experience (CX) outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to apply human-centred design thinking to deliver practical, customer-focused solutions
- Strong commercial acumen with experience leading complex transformation initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and continuous improvement opportunities
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels, including executive
- Experience managing vendors, commercial arrangements and delivery performance within complex environments
- Strong communicator, able to distil complex or technical information into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to lead, coach and align cross-functional teams, including direct and virtual teams, to achieve shared outcomes
- Skilled in managing risk, competing priorities and high-pressure environments, while making sound, high-impact decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to navigate conflict, build consensus and maintain effective relationships across diverse stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple programs, priorities and deadlines effectively
