Your new role
Are you a proactive HR professional ready to step into a key advisory role within a dynamic and supportive People & Culture team? We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented individual who can confidently handle a wide range of employee matters and contribute to meaningful business improvements across the organisation.
As a trusted member of the PeopleHub team, you’ll be the go-to contact for employees and stakeholders, offering sound advice and practical support across the full HR lifecycle. Ideally, you bring experience from a large or complex organisation, with a good understanding of working within unionised environments, interpreting enterprise agreements and building trusted relationships with employees and leaders alike
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee and stakeholder HR queries, resolving issues with professionalism and clarity.
- Apply HR policies and processes consistently to ensure compliance and fairness across the board.
- Maintain accurate employee and organisational data in our HR systems, performing data checks and generating reports as needed.
- Support the team in process improvement initiatives and help develop new administrative procedures.
- Prepare and deliver timely and clear communications and correspondence for employees.
- Monitor system functionality and help identify opportunities to improve HR systems and workflows.
- Act as a second-tier escalation point for more complex queries, supporting the broader team on their path to becoming trusted HR Advisors.

To be successful, you will have the following skills & experience:
- Proven HR administration experience in a large and/or complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in applying HR policies, processes and systems.
- Confidence in interpreting and applying enterprise agreements.
- Experience utilising HR technologies and systems (e.g., HRIS platforms).
- Sound problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail in all aspects of HR operations.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams and functions.
We welcome candidates who hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or another closely related field - your expertise will be highly regarded!
