Our Fleet Maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping our heavy vehicles and specialised plant safe, compliant, and ready to support essential energy services across our network.
We’re looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our high-performing team and take ownership of the day-to-day servicing and maintenance coordination of our fleet. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure reliable fleet performance today and into the future.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating servicing, repairs, and maintenance for heavy vehicles and specialised plant
- Managing records, data entry, reporting, and billing across fleet maintenance activities
- Issuing and maintaining approvals for scopes of work in line with fleet policies, statutory regulations, and manufacturer specifications
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries and support operational needs
- Coordinating emergency breakdown services for vehicles and plant
- Arranging vehicle movements, inspections, testing, and EWP requirements
- Identifying and recommending opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability
- Ensuring compliance with relevant heavy vehicle legislation and accreditation requirements
What you bring to the role
Our hiring decisions are not only based on your experience and skills, but your passion, attitude, and alignment to our core values.
You will demonstrate advanced computer literacy across Microsoft Office and fleet or maintenance management systems, enabling accurate record keeping, reporting, and coordination of servicing activities. Your strong organisational skills will allow you to effectively manage multiple priorities, coordinate vehicle movements, and deliver a broad range of maintenance activities in a fast-paced operational environment.
You bring well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with both internal teams and external service providers to resolve enquiries and keep work progressing smoothly. Complementing this is your sound analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and confidence in making practical decisions that support safe, efficient fleet operations.
Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are highly developed, allowing you to provide clear updates, maintain accurate documentation, and build trusted working relationships. You will also have prior experience coordinating maintenance and repairs for specialised vehicles, plant, or heavy fleet, giving you a solid understanding of servicing requirements and operational constraints.
While not essential, a Trade Certificate in Automotive (Light or Heavy Vehicle) or a relevant mechanical qualification will be highly regarded.
