- Permanent Full Time | Starting salary of $104,723 + Plus 16.5% super + company vehicle

Your responsibilities will include:
- Model visible leadership and actively demonstrate our Work Safe Live Safe and Customer-focused values.
- Partner with business leader and front-line workers to support knowledge and understanding of the Live Work Manuals and Electrical Safety Rules, Health and Safety (H&S) performance and cultural objectives.
- Plan and deliver low voltage live work assurance activities in line with the H&S Assurance Plan using system-based tools, supporting continual learning and risk intelligence.
- Prepare and present reports and insights to Business Unit Managers, enabling improvement to control measures.
- Coach and guide senior leaders, front-line leaders and workers across field-based roles, planning, engineering and training on the application of the Live Work Manual and Electrical Safety Rules.
- Engage with sector and industry bodies to translate insights into practical recommendations to enable continuous learning and improvement.
- Contribute to investigations and risk reviews of low voltage live work as a subject matter expert.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Ausgrid’s safe systems of work, including the Low Voltage Live
- Work Manuals, Electrical Safety Rules, Live Work Authorisations and training content.
- Contribute to the review of work practices to enable safe and efficient outcomes for workers and the community.
- Utilise relevant technical systems and databases, including appropriately managing asset and network data and information.
- Translate data and trend analysis into business-unit-specific insights that support the identification of emerging risks and themes.

Essential Qualifications
- Electrical trade qualification with five years’ experience in field operations.
- Engineering certificate or diploma-level tertiary qualification in work, health and safety or equivalent, or the ability and willingness to achieve the qualification.
- Must hold or have previously held work authorisations or equivalent for the low-voltage, high-voltage or transmission network.
- Lead Auditor OH&S Management Systems qualification or ability to achieve qualification.
Essential Criteria
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to effectively communicate, influence, coach and mentor stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Adaptive and agile critical thinking and processing ability, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into simple, easy-to-understand explanations or processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant WHS and electricity distribution network legislation, Codes of
- Practice and Australian Standards.
- Proficient research, report-writing and editing ability, with high attention to detail.
- This role is required to provide coverage of afternoon/night shift as required, in line with the EBA provisions.
Desired Criteria
- Certification IV in Training and Assessment.
- Lead Auditor Asset Management Systems.
