Your new role
We’re looking for an experienced Inventory Quality & Standards Advisor to lead the charge in maintaining the integrity of our inventory systems and processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring our master data and catalogue management are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with operational needs.
You’ll work closely with engineering, procurement, and warehouse teams to uphold quality standards, resolve technical issues, and manage insurance spares and obsolete inventory. If you thrive in a role that blends technical insight with supply chain strategy, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead quality control processes for inventory and major plant items.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Resolve complex technical issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain stock codes, cataloguing standards, and material master data.
- Drive obsolescence reviews and rationalise slow-moving stock.
- Manage insurance spare inventory for emergency preparedness.
- Contribute to the development of supply chain specifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
Spark our interest!
Our hiring decisions are not only based on your experience and skills, but your passion, attitude and alignment to our core values.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in supply chain or material management within an engineering or utilities environment.
- Strong knowledge of MRO supply chains and quality standards (e.g., ISO9001).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical, analytical mindset.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Advanced computer skills, ideally with SAP MM/PM and PowerBI experience.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
