You will also support the team to ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met and that reports are prepared in compliance with accounting standards, as well as any other relevant reporting requirements specific to the organisation.
You will be involved in preparing accurate and timely monthly financial reports and half-year, annual financial statements. - Assist in the management of fixed assets by handling capital expenditure, depreciation, and assets under construction reporting and analysis, alongside the upkeep of the Fixed Asset Registers
- Perform allocated general ledger reconciliations, including providing appropriate commentary and action points on variances between actual to prior periods or to budget or forecast for certain items to ensure that the true financial position of the business is reflected
- Prepare month end fixed assets related journals, network revenue accruals and other ad hoc journals
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be directed by your Manager (including collection of data for ABS surveys)
