Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality? We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Supervisor to join our team. In this pivotal role, your leadership is at the heart of our operations, you will lead and support a highly skilled workgroup engaged in network maintenance, commissioning and emergency response activities.

 

  • Lead and support a field-based team, ensuring they work safely, effectively, and to required quality, cost and time standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily network work activities, including validating schedules, allocating resources, and supervising on-site operations.
  • Engage with customers, stakeholders and internal teams, sharing critical information, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth delivery of field services.
  • Manage safety, compliance and performance, including audits, competency verification, documentation, and applying development frameworks to build team capability.
  • Respond to unplanned events, coordinating emergency/storm response and supporting the investigation and repair of damaged or failed network equipment.

 

What you bring to the role

The successful candidate will hold Safety as a core value! You are a skilled and passionate leader who is Electrically qualified (Cert III Electrotechnology or ESI OH). We need you to be experienced in leading and developing field-based employees, in heavy industry and/or high-risk environments. You are a strong communicator who thrives on fostering strong relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.

You are highly adaptable, agile, and work well within a collaborative environment. We need someone who can plan and prioritise their workloads to meet tight deadlines.

 

  • Sound knowledge of trade-based practices with a strong emphasis on voltage regulation within the electricity distribution industry
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Electrical Safety Rules accreditation
  • Sound knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and procedures such as safe working practices, network standards and codes of practice
