Your new role

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality? We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Supervisor to join our team. In this pivotal role, your leadership is at the heart of our operations, you will lead and support a highly skilled technical workgroup engaged in field-based activities.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 

  • Lead and supervise field-based teams to safely deliver work across various programs, ensuring high standards of quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Champion a safety-first culture by communicating critical safety information and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with planners and schedulers to validate work plans and allocate resources effectively.
  • Support the team development through coaching, performance feedback, and application of the performance development framework.
  • Liaise with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues, including complaints.
  • Manage emergency and fault response operations
  • Monitor performance using relevant systems, conduct audits, and ensure all compliance documentation is accurately completed.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements in work practices, systems, and team capability.

We need you to be experienced in leading and developing field-based employees, in heavy industry and/or high-risk environments. You are a strong communicator who thrives on fostering strong relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.

You are highly adaptable, agile, and work well within a collaborative environment. We need someone who can plan and prioritise their workloads to meet tight deadlines.

• Sound knowledge of trade-based practices preferably in the electrical distribution & renewables sector.

• Class C Drivers Licence.

• Electrical Safety Rules accreditation

• Sound knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and procedures such as safe working practices, industry standards and codes of practice
