Our Field Delivery Managers lead the frontline teams who keep our network safe, reliable and ready for tomorrow. In this leadership role, you will guide multiskilled crews as they deliver essential work across our depots and local communities.
You will build on a culture where people look out for one another, where safety comes first, and where teamwork is how we get things done. You will support your team to grow their capability, step into new opportunities and feel proud of the important work they do.
You will also play a key part in shaping the future of our network. Whether rolling out new systems, embedding operational improvements or supporting the introduction of new technologies, your leadership will help bring our next chapter to life.
What you will lead and deliver
• The performance, development and engagement of large frontline teams
• A strong, positive safety culture grounded in practical, honest conversations
• Operational improvements and commercially focused service standards
• Rollout of new enterprise technologies, systems and processes
• Timely and reliable delivery against work targets
• Resolution of complex network issues within your accountability
• Planning and resource allocation across labour, plant and materials
• Coordinated emergency and breakdown response
• Budget oversight and guidance for supervisors
What you will bring
• Electrical trade or engineering qualifications
• Demonstrated frontline leadership experience
• Proven understanding of safety systems and electrical industry standards
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
• Problem solving capability and good judgement
• Ability to lead through change and support others to adapt
• High attention to detail and professionalism when handling sensitive matters
