Our Safety Delivery & Operations group is focussed on delivering a safe and reliable electricity network and play a major role in building and maintaining Ausgrid’s network.
Our Model Management is growing and have a strong culture of learning and collaboration with close ties to the Network Access Team, SCADA Operations, and the Control Room.
Join us as the Engineering Officer - ADMS Model Editor and be a part of a critical team that aim to ensure the successful implementation and operation of ADMS.
Your new role
Reporting to the Model Manager, you will have a key role in maintaining the Network Model as system alterations occur as well as trouble shoot model issues and providing solutions.
The Engineering Officer - ADMS Model Editor undertakes engineering related or technical activities to support a safe, reliable, sustainable and affordable network for our customers.
Your key responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- Manage, coordinate or contribute to the delivery of major projects or programs of work.
- Undertake data analysis, assessment, calculations or reporting to support project or operational activities and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Prepare design packages for complex network related projects or work activities.

Energise us through your skills and qualifications in:
- Proven experience and technical expertise gained in a relevant trade; or experience in an engineering related or technical role; within the electricity distribution or relevant industry.
- Advanced Diploma in an electrical or relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent).
- Class C Drivers Licence.
- GIS or SCADA experience (preferable).
- Experience in project work relating to distribution or transmission networks (preferable).
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking or managing multiple tasks and / or projects and prioritising activities.
