We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Officer to support the creation and maintenance of Master and Device Data for network installations. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our data systems, enabling smooth network operations and high-quality service delivery to customers and stakeholders.

 

Working within a collaborative team environment, you’ll manage complex data requests, resolve escalated issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across data management processes.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the creation and upkeep of Master and Device Data for network installations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes.
  • Resolve complex data-related issues and troubleshoot metering problems.
  • Provide excellent customer service, utilising negotiation skills to address customer complaints.
  • Work autonomously to manage your time effectively, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

 

What you bring to the role

You are highly organised, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy solving complex problems and take pride in maintaining accurate and reliable data.

 

To be successful, you will also have the following skills & experience:

 

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality service in a commercial setting.
  • Strong ability to meet performance and productivity targets.
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite, as well as advanced skills in TRIM, SAP, MBS, MCS, and other relevant systems (including web-based programs like Near Maps and Google Maps).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in investigating and resolving complex data, metering, and customer complaints.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
