We're looking for a Business Solution Analyst to join our team and play a key role in delivering innovative ICT solutions and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. Reporting to the Customer Applications Manager this team is responsible for customer applications used by internal and external users.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical and solutions-focused professional who enjoys working with stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping transform business needs into practical technology solutions. you will provide expert guidance and contribute to planning activities, while operating with a high degree of autonomy and support from senior leadership.

 

This is a 12-month fixed term position which can be based at our Newcastle or Sydney Haymarket office.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop innovative technology solutions.
  • Analyse operational data, trends, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and enhanced performance.
  • Support the design, planning, and implementation of ICT initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, release plans, and progress reporting to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Lead and coordinate application testing activities, including test strategies, scenarios, and quality assurance processes.
  • Assess risks, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend process improvements that drive business value.
  • Support organisational change by developing communication and training materials that assist successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted advisor for process and technology improvements.

 

What you bring to the role

  • Qualifications in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated solutioning experience and strength with documenting user stories.
  • D365 Customer Engagement and Sitecore CMS functional experience and qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience delivering system and process improvement initiatives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience analysing complex information and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to high-quality customer service.

 

Desirable

 

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Experience with ITIL practices and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
  • Exposure to technology transformation or digital improvement projects.
