What you’ll gain

You can expect:
- 12 Week structured program: Enjoy a tailored internship experience that combines meaningful work and professional development, with potential pathways into our Graduate Program.
- Real impact: Work on meaningful engineering projects that support critical energy infrastructure and deliver outcomes for our customers and communities. This summer you could find yourself working in an area such as Transmission Substations, Asset Insights, Major Projects, Renewable Energy Zones, Asset Management & Planning or Design.
- Hands-on experience: Gain valuable insight into the energy industry, explore different engineering career paths, and work alongside seasoned engineers to gain practical skills that will set you apart in your career.
- Support and development: Join a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and learn from our experienced engineers. Receive regular feedback and be paired with a buddy to help you navigate your internship experience.
- Learn: Strengthen your technical and professional capabilities, including problem-solving, communication, teamwork, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
- Create connections: Build connections and network with engineering professionals, leaders, graduates and fellow interns while expanding your professional network.
Who we are looking for:
- Passionate Bachelor of Engineering degree students in 3rd or penultimate year of study
- Aligning degree/majors in Electrical Engineering
- At time of application candidates must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Commitment to work full-time for 12 weeks from late November 2026 (some flexibility available)
- Curious, motivated and eager to learn
- Collaborates and is a strong communicator
- Enthusiasm for the energy sector

- Step 2: One-way video interview - shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online one-way video interview as part of our screening process.
- Step 3: Interview - selected candidates will be invited to an in-person interview with the business.
- Step 4: Background checks & offer - successful candidates will be welcomed to start the program, commencing late November 2026!
